I have elderly to date machine - PIII-755, Socket 370. No overclocking. The problem is the noise and vibration in the system unit, although not strong, but the order of annoying.
I ask for assistance in the following.
1. Encourage power: whether such a purchase.
2. What to do with cooling percent? How to significantly reduce / exclude noise from the CPU cooler. We have MP installed radiator and fan Thermaltake (I do not remember what exactly) with a speed regulator, reducing speed but does not eliminate the noise.
3. Help to choose a low-noise HD (without reference to the volume of data).
