Synchronizing OneNote with Office applications

When ydu are in the process of collating data, you would use various other Ofhce applications to keep a record of your findings. It is very interesting to understand how OneNote helps you use all these resources to collect and organize your data. Thus, you don't need to abandon your old Office applications in favor of OneNote, they work in perfect harmony.

Once you install OneNote on your system, the application automatically links itself to your Outlook mail client and your Internet Explorer instance, so that you don't need to s.huffle between windows while you gather your research data. You will als.? find a "Send to OneNote" option under' the list of printers when you print any file.

Through OneNote, you can also manage your Outlook meetings, contacts, tasks and schedules. You can also add flags and reminders, and synchronize them with Outlook. But what if your associates do not have OneNote installed on their system? You can still e-mail all your ideas through OneNote, with the data attached as a webpage along with a copy of your OneNote file.

When you have text data, you can always use the clipboard to duplicate data. But what if you require thetext in it's original format? You can easily insert Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations, media files [either audio or video) into specific pages or notes in your notebook and you can annotate their content. The files are saved as attachments and can be easily accessed by clicking them.
