This sub-step is for "Text", "Rich Text" and "URL" options of "History" menu.

1. Copy the data that you may require at any time while working on your computer.

2. To paste the data, open the "Yankee Clipper" application window.

3. Click "Text" option under the "History" menu.

4. Double-click on the entry to be pasted.

5. Go to the destination application and press [Ctrl] + [V] to paste the text.

6. Any data that you copy using the [Ctrl] + [C] keyboard shortcut, or though any menus are copied and displayed in the "Yankee Clipper" window.

7. Click the "+" (plus) sign appearing in the "Edit Clipping" section, which changes to a minus dign after clicking.

8. Click the arrow symbol to delete unwanted characters from your clippings.

9. You can type search phase in the text box provided if your have copied large clippings. You can also replace text after searching for it.

10. You can highlight words in your clipping before you paste It.

11. You can change the case of words in your clippings. But this application provides only for two cases, that is the upper and lower case.

12. Once you have made all the changes, click the "Save'" button, and proeeed to paste your data.
