The EDraw suite is a shareware tool used to create a variety of UML diagrams, organizational charts, directional maps, flow charts, building plans, database model diagrams, Network Diagram and many such diagrammatic representations. EDraw Mind Map is a vector-based brainstorming and rational analysis freeware which can be downloaded as a separate application. It comes equipped with many examples and easy-to-use templates that you can choose from. The main aim of this tool is to create basic flow charts, mind maps, brainstorming diagrams and sketch maps in a pictorial manner to make it visually attractive.

PROS:

Lots of useful clip arts can make your mind maps quite appealing visually.

Through the Help tab, you can view the online example gallery and get extended symbols to help you use the application better.

CONS:
Some of the symbols are very loud, and can make your mind map look very childish if not used effectively.

The format is very rigid, not very flexible to use.
