Sometimes, a workbook contains many worksheets. Switching between sheets that are far from each other can be tedious, since you have to keep clicking the tabs in the navigation toolbar.
Sometimes, a workbook contains many worksheets. Switching between sheets that are far from each other can be tedious, since you have to keep clicking the tabs in the navigation toolbar.
Microsoft has incorprated a relatively unknown shortcut: right-click the navigation buttons at the bottom left next to the tabs of individual worksheets. In the list that is opened, the program displays all worksheets with their names for selection. Simply activate the desired entry by clicking it.
By default, this list contains the names of up to 15 worksheets. If your Excel file contains more than 15 worksheets, the last entry of the list is 'More sheets'. You can click it if the worksheet you are looking for is not among the 15 that have been displayed in the list. Excel then opens a dialog with the names of all worksheets in one list.
