Thread: Adding tags to photos in digiKam

digiKam allows you to tag, your photos so that you n filter your albums based these. To do this, right-click on that photo and select Assign tag and then Add New Tag. Here, you can add the tag title well as a thumbnail image. The title will be displayed at the bottom of each photo that has that has this tag. To tag multiple photos an album, just click and drag or [Ctrl] + click the photos that you want to tag. Right-click selected photo and select the tag you have already created or t create a new one. Multiple 5 can be assigned to a single photo in the same way.

To filter photos based on their tags, click on the Tag Filters tab located on the extreme right tool bar of digiKam. To select a certain tag, just click on the check box of that tag and you will only see photos with that tag. To remove a tag from a photo, right-click the photo and select Remove Tag and then click on the tag.
