There are a number of players that can playback just about any kind of videos thrown at them. The question is - are they as easy to use as the player in question? GOM player, as some of us know it. is a simple to use application meant to playback video files. The first thing that would strike you would be its plain interface, which includes only the buttons required for playback. But don't underestimate the player only going by its look. It has everything you would require from a basic to an advanced player. making it suitable for almost everyone. The player comes embedded with most codecs such as AVI. DivX, MPEG, MOV and many more, allowing you to playback most videos without the need to obtain a codec. However, in case the player is unable to playback a particular file it automatically takes you to the page where the missing codec can be downloaded from. Best of all, during playback the player is able to detect multiple files in a folder and automatically places them in the playlist, without user intervention. Videos can also be played from the point where they last stopped, eliminating the need to search for the last played scene.

A wide range of features can be accessed by either right clicking on the screen or by clicking the logo towards the top left corner of the screen. Various adjustments such as the window size, aspect ratio, audio and couple of other features can be accessed without the need to get into the preferences.
