HERE is a tool which will help you back up all your Google Chrome information and settings by saving them as profiles. You can create new Chrome profiles, back them up and also restore them. The profile data includes browsing history, bookmarks, etc. You can download the Google Chrome Profile Backup tool frol1) the Internet. Follow these steps to download and install the application.
NOTE:
Install the Microsoft .Net Framework (v2.0 or above) to use this tool.
Visit the site: parhelia-tools
Scroll down the page till you see the yellow 'Download' button.
On the next page you can download the application setup in the EXE or ZIP format. Click the appropriate link to download.
Select a location to download the file and click 'OK'.
Double-click the installed file to run the setup. If you have downloaded the ZIP file then you will have to unzip it before installing.
Once the setup launches, keep clicking the 'Next' button to continue with the installation. Click 'Yes' if you recieve a prompt to create a new folder then.
Finally, make sure that the checkbox to launch Google Chrome Profile Backup is checked. Click 'Finish'.
The application launches automatically after installing. Next to the taskbar, you will notice the logo of the application in the system tray. Here's how you can create a profile.
Click 'Profile | New Profile'. Enter the new 'Profile name' in the text field that is provided. Click the 'Browse' button and select the location to save the profile.
Click 'OK' to save the changes. Now that you have created a new profile, it will appear as an icon in the application, with the provided name. To back up the profile, Right-click the profile name and click 'Back up this profile' from the context menu.
Exit Google Chrome before you carry out this operation. A message box will appear on your screen asking you if you want to clear the cache of the selected profile. Click on 'Yes' or 'No' as per your choice.
In the 'Save As' dialog box that appears, select a location where you would like to save this profile and click 'Save'. Similarly to recover a profile that was earlier saved (using the above method), Right-click the profile name.
Select 'Restore this profile' from the context menu. Browse and load the back up and click 'Open'. To use a previously saved profile simply right-click the name of the profile and click 'Run this Profile'
