It can be helpful to round numbers down in Excel to make them easier to read and to prevent unexpected results when otherwise invisible digits are used in formulas. This is simple when entering the number by hand but more complicated when the number is the result of a formula.
There is a function called Round that you can add to the formula to stop results becoming too long.
It looks like =ROUND(E43*G 10,0). The formula goes before the comma and the number after the comma is the number of digits after the decimal point that the figure will be rounded to.
So =ROUND(4/3,0) would display 1, and =ROUND(4/3,3) would display 1.333.
