Every time you delete a file, Vista makes sure that you actually want to remove the selected file and move all its contents to the Recycle Bin. This query, which seems to be useful in the beginning, gets quite annoying for experienced users after some time.

Right-click the desktop icon 'Recycle Bin' and open the' Properties' context command to cure this. Deactivate the 'Display delete confirmation dialog' option in the 'Global' or 'General' tab. Confirm the change with 'OK'. And there, you have done away with the nuisance.
