Thread: Voice recorder compatibility 32 vs 64

My problem: I purchased a digital voice recorder not knowing it was not compatible with an x64 bit system, in my case Vista 64.

My Question: Is there a way, beside installing another version of vista (32bit) or installing 2 ops on my computer to make this to work? In short, some kind of emulator that will fake the recorder believing it’s a 32bit system?

(It work fine with vista 32 bit, I tested it on my brothers cpu).

I've also just contacted Sony, and the rep effectively implied that Sony has NO plans to support 64-bit operating systems with its drivers any time in the foreseeable future. Looks like it's time to wipe the dust off my XP 32-bit VMWare image.
