If you're a fan of the VideoLan (VLC) player, YOU'll surely like the KM Player, because it's almost identical to VLC. The initial configuration process not only allows fine tuning the overall functionality but also let's you modify the look of the application by offering skins. You can optimize the player for higher-performance PCs, but even entry-level ones run the application seamlessly. This all-in-one player is compatible with almost all file formats such as 3GP, AVI, DVD, VCD, WMV, MKV, all forms of MPEF format, flash files like FLV, SWF, and real media formats like RMVB and RM. It is able to play partly downloaded, locked and damaged media files. Although the user-interface is not the best, once you learn how to use it, this application can turn out to be one of your favorites.
