The virus and spyware protec¬tion combo is the standout fea¬ture in Panda Internet Security 2008, which-a first-removed everyone of my spyware samples and didn't let any of them install on a clean system.

The firewall is efficient and doesn't pester you. Unfortu¬nately, the antispam component has gone downhill, and the new Wi-Fi protection, antiphishing, and optimization features are disappointing. But this is a seri¬ous spyware killer for 2008-if Panda can bring the rest of the suite up to snuff, the next itera¬tion just might be 2009's killer security suite.
