Is there any disc burning software that can burn AVI files to a DVD playable on a DVD player? I have a Sony DVD player and I tried burning just the AVI files on a DVD using Nero. It works fine on my friend's player, but not on mine.

AVI files burnt onto a DVD will play on players that support different file formats and codecs. A traditional DVD will only read movie DVDs. To burn movie DVDs, use a software called DVDFlick. Look out for the detailed workshop in the Tips and Tricks section in this issue.
