With its most recent release, XPize can now apply a visual face lift to Windows XP SP3 (Service Pack 3) as well. Continuing to use Windows XP (even after Windows 7 has been released) needn't mean that one likes all its visual elements. Windows XP might as well be spruced up with a slightly different look, updated icons that look more contemporary, and a good-looking desktop.

XPize can be installed on an already running as, or can even be merged into the installation files of the as, so that you have an updated icon-set and other improvements right from the first time you startup XP after completing installation. Applying updates from Windows Update can sometimes replace the system files that XPize had modified, so to get back the updated visuals, XPize provides a reloader which will apply the changes again.
