If your system is not able to open multiple Word files because of failing resources, it is a good idea to scan through the contents before you open and use the-document. You can use the 'Preview'view available in the 'Open' dialog box. To do so, carry out the following steps:

Start Word 2007 and click on the 'Office button'.

Click the 'Open' button.

Browse for the file and click the arrow near the 'views' button.

Select the 'Preview' option.

Click on any word document to get a complete preview .

Click 'Open' to load the file. You can now view the file in the pane.
