Creating photo collages with an imaging program requires lots of patience and creativity. With Picture Collage Maker Pro you can create great looking collages with just a few clicks. The software presents a step-by-step approach to creating a collage. You can either start from scratch with a blank sheet and unleash your creativity or take a pick from 130 built-in templates. The templates are categorized so that it's easy to browse and select a suitable one depending on whether you wish to make a calendar, greeting card, jumble of pictures or a plain collage. Templates have pre-arranged clipart, image place holders and text boxes. You simply have to drag images from the built-in image browser onto the place holders, fill in the text boxes and voila your collage is ready. Creating photo collages is more fun when you create it right from scratch or tinker with the elements in the templates.



There are over 100 backgrounds and clipart objects to choose from. Clipart is categorized into 40 categories (birthday, mother's day, wedding, Easter and love to name a few) and each category has around 20 to 30 images-that's over 800 clipart images. The panel to the left of the work area displays thumbnails of visual elements such as templates, background and clipart. You simply have to double-click on a thumbnail to apply it to the collage. You can even adjust the brightness, contrast and hue/saturation of each photo in the collage and add effects such as zoom blur, radial blur and scratch removal One feature that we really liked was photo masking. The software has 21 preloaded masks to give your photos some extra punch. When your collage is ready, you can either print them or export them as a picture and use them as desktop wallpaper. There are predefined collage sizes to choose from, plus you can specify the resolution of the collage. It would have been great had the author included templates with aspect ratio of 16:9 or 16:10 for widescreen images.
