The latter is more fun because it works like you're tracing a coin with a pencil to see the print appear on the paper on top. The more you move the mouse over a particular spot, the darker the effect. This ability and the ease of use are what make this application interesting. There are a few effects to choose from the two main categories, sketch and texture. The size of the brush, intensity of the effect and the precision, all can be modified to get desired effects.
