CREATING neat and legible labels for your written communication reduces the need to manually fill in addresses. MS Word comes equipped with a handy tool to create labels in a jiffy. To use this feature, carry out the following steps:

~ Open a new document.

~ Select the 'Mailings' tab.

~ Click the 'Labels' option appearing under the 'Create' group.

~ Select the 'Labels' tab in the 'Envelops and Labels' dialog box.

~ Type the address required in the 'Address' text box. You can adjust the contents and structure of the label later.

~ Next, click the 'Options' button which appears at the base of the dialog box.

~ Set the number of labels and other such details and click 'OK' in the 'Label Options' dialog box to proceed.

~ If you wish to print only a single label, select the 'Single label' option from the 'Print' section of the 'Envelops and Labels' dialog box.

~ If you wish to print multiple labels, select the 'Full page of same label' option instead.

~ Click the 'New Document' button to save or edit the file.

~ Here you can edit the values as per your requirements.

~ Proceed to print the document as you print any other file.
