Internet Explorer 8 allows you to edit the content that is printed as the header and footer text of the webpages. These often include the page number; the URL of the
web page and the date and time when the printout was taken. You may sometimes find these entries quite unnecessary. Follow these steps to edit the header and footer or omit it altogether.
~ Open the page that you wish to print in Internet Explorer 8.
~ click 'File/Page Setup'.
NOTE:
If you cannot see the menu bar or locate 'File' menu then press the [Alt] key once.
~In the 'Page Setup: dialog box, go to the 'Headers and Footers' section and specify which entries you want to set as the header and footer.
