Virtually as an alternative for other popular video editing tools, Magix has now come out with the new Video easy, with help of which anyone can create breathtaking videos without any kindof prior training. Importing videos goes on smoothly; the tool even accepts the latest HD video codecs of camcorders and digital cameras. However, it is always recommended to convert these videos into a slimmer format so as to avoid jerking during editing or previewing. The cross-section is restricted to storyboard with manual cutting, two cross-fade effects along with color and brightness corrections. One can even add captions and animated title, but the thing that is missing is the colored video effects, which are offered by conventional video-cutting programs. And if anyone feels lost, he can simply watch the introduction video or read the handbook. The automatic Video-cutting feature is disappointing since it provides with only two styles: additional styles are available over Magix portal website and cost extra. In case of output, one has options between DVD, YouTubeUpload and local storage. The missing burning options for Blu-ray or AVCHD DVD are inconsequential.
