If you want to improve Word document or PowerPoint presentation then including clipart is a simple method to do so. There are two methods to include clipart to Office document and methods will differ based on what version of Office you are using. For following examples in this PC tip we are going to be using Word 2003 as Office application that we will be adding clipart to.

One method to include clipart is to go to insert menu from Word document. From there you will choose Picture and then Clip Art. The right side of screen will show clipart options.

Here in Search for box type that what you want to find. You can also reduce searches to online clipart, integral clipart and personal clipart by choosing an item from Search in box. And lastly you can identify them kind of picture you are looking for like clipart, photographs, movies or sounds from Results must be box.

There are two choices at the bottom containing Organize clips which permits you to move clipart around and delete unnecessary clipart etc. You can also click on Clip art on Office Online link to take you to Microsoft Office Online clipart page where you can search and download more clipart.

After you have got preferred clipart then you can drag it into document or choose insert from drop down menu beside picture.

After image is included into document, Word creates it align with text as if it were a word itself. The difficulty with this is when you attempt and move clipart, the remaining wording will move all along with it. To avoid this you can double tick image which will shows formatting choices. From there you can choose Layout tab and then choose In front of text and then click Ok. This will permit you to drag picture anywhere on screen and decrease or increase it without touching the nearby text.
