As starting a Microsoft Office program or file you obtain a message that shows “Office Application Version Does Not Match Error”. This is probably caused by having Outlook 2007 Business Contact Manager installed on PC. Many PCs that come with Office trial program installed will have this on their PC from when it was new.

There are two methods to remove error. Initially you install update from Microsoft that removes error.

Or go into Add and Remove Programs (XP) or Programs and Features (Vista) and uninstall Outlook 2007 Business Contact Manager if you do not utilize it. It won’t change any Office programs. You obtain a message during uninstall process that it can’t remove it from Outlook profile but just click Ok and end the uninstallation.
