There is an error with Microsoft Office 2000 that shows any one message which are shown below when you attempt to start Microsoft Word or Excel.
Not enough memory to run Microsoft Excel.
OR
Not enough memory or disk space to run Microsoft Word.
This can occur if any one or more of following files are damaged:
• Mso9intl.dll
• Msohelp.exe
• Msoffice.exe (you may not necessarily have this file on your system)
here is shown how you can repair this problem: Initially you want to rename Mso9intl.dll, Msohelp.exe, and Msoffice.exe files to Mso9intl.old, Msohelp.old, and Msoffice.old.
1. To locate these files go to My Computer or Windows Explorer, right tick on C drive and choose Search or Find.
2. In Search for files or folders box, enter mso9intl.dll, and click on button Search Now.
3. In Search Results listing, right tick Mso9intl.dll, and click Rename.
4. Type mso9intl.old, then hits enter.
5. Perform similar for Msohelp.exe and Msoffice.exe files
After that you want to reinstall Office 2000
1. Go to Start, Settings, and then click Control Panel.
2. Double tick Add/Remove Programs icon.
3. If you are running Windows 95, 98, ME or NT, tick Microsoft Office 2000 on the Install/Uninstall tab, and then click Add/Remove. In Windows 2000 and XP, tick Microsoft Office 2000 in the now installed programs list in Add/Remove Programs, and click Change.
4. In Office 2000 Maintenance Mode dialog box, tick Repair Office.
5. In Reinstall/Repair Office 2000 dialog box, tick Reinstall Office, and click Finish.
