Internal Error 2336 or 2755 When Installing Office 2000

If you are installing Office 2000 and setup is not replying and you get an "Internal error 2336" or “Internal error 2755” error messages while installing Office 2000 attempt the repair shown below.

This will probably occur on a PC running Windows NT, 2000 or XP on an NTFS formatted drive because of authorization errors. WinNT or Windows folder may not have right access permissions for installation and unable to make installer folder.

To repair this problem ensure that WinNT or Windows folder has Read permissions for everyone and Administrators have Full Control.
