Thread: missing Security tab.

There is a difference between my two machines in the window that I see after right-clicking on a folder to click on Sharing and Security One machine has the usual three tabs; the other contain one additional Security tab. What happen for my first machine?
any suggestion????

try this
The system with fewer tabs using XP is "Simple File Sharing. In Windows Explorer select Tools>> Folder Options>> Click the View tab. At the base find Use Simple file sharing and uncheck it. Also adding the Security tab, you will see that the Sharing tab is very different with this feature turned off.

Thansk for your suggestion. itried it but it didin't helped with my problem. any other suggetsin would be very helpful.
