How to Deal With ZIP Files

If you have a slow Internet connection, or large files on the case, ZIP-files can store and compress the overall size of several files for quick and capable transmission over the Internet. You can simply create and use Zip-archives, as if to use a normal folder Windows.

Create a ZIP File Using Windows Built-in ZIP Support

• Right-click on the place where you would like your file to be placed. This possibly you’re Desktop or other file place in your PC for example "My Documents."

• Choose "New." after that choose "Compressed (zipped) Folder."

• Name your zipped file (folder). Ensure you give ".zip" extension at the end of your file name.

• Copy the files you want to put in your ZIP folder.

• Double-click your ZIP folder to open it, and paste your copied files into your folder. Repeat this copy and paste procedure until you have saved all your files into the ZIP folder.

• Close your ZIP file (folder). After that, you may connect it to an email or upload it to a web server just as you would any other file.

Accessing Files in a ZIP File Using Windows Built-in Support

• Download your ZIP file (folder) from the Internet or news item, if you do not already have it save on your computer HDD.

• Double-Click the ZIP file (folder) to open it.

• Choose the file or files you would like to access.

• Click "Edit." Now, click "Move to Folder...," if you would like to deleted the file from your ZIP folder and copied to your another place, or click "Copy to Folder...," if you would like to copy of your file to stay in your ZIP file with in the new location.

• Open your file; from the location you copied it to, just as you generally do.
