Thread: Easy way to transfer the outlook mail to word?

I have several thousand mails stored in my Outlook Express mail client. Do you know of a simple and quick way to save them in Word (or any other easily accessible word processing program) without individually copy-pasting each and every email? I would also like to avoid individually saving each mail as text. If this is not possible in Outlook Express, is there any other email client that allow bulk saving? Thank you!

Using Outlook Express, all the emails get stored in one save all your emails to text, you would require Microsoft Outlook. Start Outlook and import all the messages from Outlook Express. Then select the emails you would like to save in text form and choose 'File/Save As' from the menu. Type in the location and file name of the text file and click on 'Save'. All your emails will now be exported to the file.

Note: Images and attachments will not be converted or saved. If there are any images or attachments, you will need to save them individually or just drag and drop the email from Outlook to the desktop. This will create an Outlook email file with the complete email contents and attachments.
