Thread: Unable to access firewall on Windows Server 2003

There is on big problem that I am unable to access firewall on Windows Server 2003 machine. It shows as Windows firewall cannot run referencing Ipnat.sys. I conclude from googling that it is because RRAS is enabled. So please help me to solve this problem. Any help will be appreciated.

RRAS is what allows users to VPN in, if you do not require permitting VPN access, and then you could disable RRAS. So to solve this problem you first have to check or modify in the firewall settings.

I think it based on what version of Server OS you are using and what services you have enabled or organized. IMHO, you would be best off opening ports on hardware FW, as many ports closed on them anyway. You can stop RRAS, as you want, but then users would not be able to attach a VPN connection to server.
