Thread: Desktop shortcut on my Quick Launch Bar

I want create a Show Desktop shortcut on my Quick Launch Bar on my computer. I am not computer savvy. I am having the desktop computer system which has the Windows vista operating system. Please give step by step guidance for how to a Show Desktop shortcut on my Quick Launch Bar. Thanks in advanced

1. Open new notepad document then copy and paste the following:

[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=shell32.dll,34
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop

2. Save the file as a “Show Desktop.scf”

3. And save this notepad file on your desktop

4. With the Show Desktop icon now show on your desktop, hit the Shift key and right click your Show Desktop icon.

5. Pick "Add to Quick Launch". And drag and drop the Show Desktop icon on to your Quick Launch bar.
