How to Disable the explore Indexer

In this case, it is required to disable the indexer by following these steps:

• Click Start >> Click Control Panel >> Click System and Maintenance

• Click Administrative Tools >>Double-click on Services

• If asked for permission, click Continue >> "Windows Search"

• Right-click it, and click Properties >> Click Stop

• Click the dropdown box next to Startup Type

• Click Disabled >> Click OK
