A boot disk is a comparatively antiquated method of booting a PC if you are unable to access it by hard drive or CD/DVD drive boot methods. If you want to create a boot disk for your PC.

Instructions

• Boot ups PC and log into the operating system.

• Place your floppy disk into PC’s floppy drive. Stay for the floppy disk to be detected.

• Double-click on the "My Computer" icon on the desktop or press on the "My Computer" icon in the Start menu.

• Right-click on your floppy drive (A: drive) and press on the "Format" button.

• Select the "Create an MS-DOS startup disk" option and then press on the "Start" button. The boot disk is generated.
