Apple PC has always strived to present a user-friendly environment, and that expand to the aptitude to modify your Mac PC’s name. If you are on a PC-to-PC network, having the correct name obviously identifies your PC allows other users to get shared resources when Personal File Sharing is turned on.

Instructions:-

• Log in with the manager account and go into the administrator password when encouraged.

• Place the Apple menu in the above left corner of the Mac. Press and scroll down to "System Preferences."

• Place the "Internet and Network Pane" and press on the "Sharing" folder.

• State the "Computer Name" text field at the top of the window that opens, and vary name to favored name.

• Press on the lock icon in the below left corner to stop more modifies.

• Hit on red window button in above left corner of the window to shut window.
