Thread: SQL Server Diagnostics

Hi all. I have the following problem.On our server, the data accesses are very slow. If you want to delete a user create a file on a network drive, or, it may take up to 30s.SQL Server Working with XAMPP not go and break off with TimeOut. How can you find out what it is that this exchange is so slow? Find it in Event Viewer? If so, what would it be? When the server was set up again, there were no problems. In the last years it became increasingly slower until it no longer went according to information of their colleagues.

This is called probably too lame hardware. How about a local service? Have you ever looked into the Task Manager, if there is free RAM? If the network is busy?

Heavily fragmented hard drive? Hard disk simply as good as full? Have you ever looked like spread of the network throughput and also the IO requests to the current processes?
