Although obviously dependent on your system specification, booting system recovery from the CD can take several minutes. Norton Save & Restore 2.0 can create full and incremental backup images, and back upfrom within WindowsWith Norton Save & Restore 2.0 you can also back up individual files and folders.
Rather than provide direct access to all its controls through its menu structure, Norton Save & Restore makes extensive use of wizards, with hidden controls that only appear when needed. While obviously intended to help the user, in practice, this can be unsettling and makes it difficult to grasp the overall architecture of the program. This is a common mistake when wizards are implemented without providing an alternative route to perform the same tasks.
You can selectthe location for backing up the files. This gets displayed on the home screen as a pie chart of the destination drive's free and used storage. Save & Restore's enhanced browsing features let you find exactly what you're 100king.You can even set Save and Restore to use a prescribed computer resource. Norton Save and Restore 2.0 is easy to use, but since there are lots of other free backup utilities available one may feel a pinch to spend Rs.2,578 forthis utility.
