Thread: Archlinux graphical login failure

Hi, I have the following problem. I have Archlinux + WMFS, yesterday, was so comfortable with my Netbook, nothing, no apparent change, restarting the system, the user log into my Slim, get the following message: "Failed to execute login command".


Seeing this, I went to tty1 and login with my user, and to give startx gives the following error: "Waiting for X server to begin accepting connections" Y is constant and repeated the message: "No protocol specified" is repeated constantly. If I use the command "exec wmfs" from TT1 strip me of my user, and I re-login.


But if from Slim, I put in as root, and root password, boot without problems wmfs. There is no apparent change in the files in / etc/X11, even in the. Xinitrc. I created another user if a problem of my particular user, but nothing comes out the same. Anyone know why could this be?

It seems to cairo problem, if you install cairo-xcb of aur, seems to be solved . I think this is a correct answer so u can try it.
