In the past we have reviewed many Razer brand gaming keyboards and mice. So you readers would be pretty well aware of the gaming company, Razer that develops
products for gamers, by gamers.This keyboard from Razer is larger than other conventional gaming boards available from other manufacturers. The all black keyboard has keys decently spaced out that offer comfort. The Razer logo illuminates with fade in, fade out effect in blue colour that looks amazing in dark.
For any gaming keyboard, the build quality has to be good as it has to bear up with hard key presses and thumps from gamer hands.This one is no exception.The Tarantula has a good build quality.The Tarantula keyboard can also be customised to your requirements

Installing the keyboard is simple, but we would advise you to have a look at the user manual of the same as the Tarantula features two USB port connectors and two sound connectors. The USB connectors are set as primary and secondary and provide power/lighting to the keyboard.The sound connectors once attached to the
PC lets you connect earphones and microphones directly to the keyboard.

To tweak the keyboard to your requirement, you need to install the Tarantula drivers accompanied in the CD.The package interestingly contains 10 additional floating keys with a round shaped tool.The floating keys have icons like grenade, knife, and other game-related icons.The round shaped tool is the key remover that can help you pluck out keys from the keyboard.



You can replace the generic leh or right function keys labeled as L 1 to L5 and Rl to R5.You can even replace the standard QWERTY keys from the keyboard and use the provided sohware to reconfigure the same.The keyboard features 32KB on built-in memory that helps you to save your profiles.

Besides these floating keys, there are various other multimedia keys present that let you control volume, control music tracks,zoom on a page or make your system to go on sleep. Atthe center ofthe keyboard beneath a small covering lies a mini-USB port that lets you connect other Razer devices like webcams and the like.

Playing games with this keyboard was a pleasure.The keys provide great tactile feedback and are good for gaming and regulartasksWe especially liked the idea offloating keys that lets you control the items in the game with a single key.
