    Default Windows problem

[Q] I have a problem. Sometimes when working on my computer, a message appears saying "system failed to initialize the program. Problem error Ox000142. Your system has low virtual memory. Click 'OK' to terminate the program. After this, the desktop becomes blank for the next five to six seconds and later everything becomes normal like nothing ever happened. Kindly help me in solving this problem. Thank you.

Your system is pausing because it is low in memory resources and you are running heavy programs. Let Windows determine the optimal virtual memory size by erasing any custom settings and configuring it to 'System managed size', To do this, right click on 'My Computer' on the desktop and select 'Properties'. From the 'System Properties', click on the 'Advanced' tab, and click the 'Settings' button in the 'Performance' section. Select the 'Advanced' tab in the next open window and c1!ck the 'Change' button in the 'Virtual memory' section. Select the 'C' drive and select 'No paging file'. Click the 'Set' button. Then select 'System managed size' and click the 'Set' button again. Click on 'OK' and exit from the settings page.

The operating system should ask you to restart the computer once for the changes to take effect, Do so and check your computer for the same problem, Ensure you have enough free space (at least 4 GB) in your C: drive for Windows to work comfortably. Use 'Ccleaner' to remove unnecessary files from your computer. Scan for possible viruses too. Ensure that Windows Update is enabled to automatically download updates and keep it running smoothly.
