    Default LCD Monitor

[Q] Is it OK to use an LCD monitor when it is covered with a plastic dust cover? Or can this hamper ventilation?

If the plastic cover is blocking the vents, I suggest you remove it as the components inside the monitor could overheat. The monitor needs sufficient airflow to keep it cool and hence the life of the monitor will also increase. The same recommendation would be for your computer cabinet too. Keep the dust cover on only when the computer is not in use. Cover the cabinet and monitor 15 minutes after shutting down the computer.
