My computer is running slow what steps can I do to fix it?

Your computer is working slow then the only solution can be to resolve this problem is by doing the installation of windows or else erasing everything and restarting the computer again for better result.

I would suggest you to take out or stop any of the TSRs or the programs which is running automatically each time and then the computer starts booting your computer automatically.

If your computer is running Windows XP then you first try to delete all the files which are present in prefetch register. By deleting all the files it will lower down the system when no installing of program is undertaken by the you while doing this.
