Thread: Case makes strange rattling noise

My computer produces out a strange sputtering/rattling sound and I just make out. It sounds like a fan striking next to something. It at times goes away, and then comes back. It changes speed sometimes too. There's no wires obstructing the fans it crash like its coming from the PSU/CPU fan (they're right subsequently to one another) it goes away if I put my tower on its side.

Does someone have any ideas or tips? Is there a possibility it could be approaching within the PSU? I've also tried screwing the whole thing on tighter to reduce the sound but it doesn’t help out. I'm worried about this?

Try to stop all fans with your finger as well as you'll make out which one is causing the sound. Do you have a class PSU? What regarding the exterior?
