Thread: Need help

I have a computer with a Pentium4 3.2GHZ CPU an Asus P5AD2-E proactive AI motherboard, just now when ever I turn on the computer it comes up with a note saying " system failure CPU test " so I turn off the computer as well as seek a few more times ultimately (after a few tries) the system boots up like normal with no problem. My question is what could be causing this problem as well as what do you suggest me to do cure the circumstances?

P.s I brought the computer second hand so I cant return it to the store, also when I first brought it started all time then one day it just stopped up

This may be totally inappropriate but possibly the person you bought the computer from also had the trouble, also that's why he returned it computer. I recommend taking out the microprocessor as well as reinstalling it.
