Thread: More Blue Screen of Death ?

After discovering that I had a dead stick of RAM, I lately just received the substitute. This is the second day with the new RAM, and some previous BSOD's are reoccurring again. Something that I do that at all times causes a BSOD (eventually, make take a few attempts) is continually minimizing and then restoring war craft 3. After only some times of minimizing and reopening it, I forever receive a BSOD. Some of the BSODs that I am getting now are:

page_fault_in_nonpage_area
0x0000007e
0x0000006e
0x00000030
win26k.sys
watchdog.sys
try to write to read only memory
Can anybody helps?

What G.Skill modules and what are your settings? Unless it's faulty, that motherboard mechanism well with G.Skill 800 MHz modules.

I consider, you have to run memtest. Is that 4meg, 4x1 or 2x2 if 4x1 then there is your trouble, timing, some boards do not play well with 4x1 of ram.

You have a point with the 4x1. I’ve used 2x2 only and I not at all had problem if the settings are right.

It's 2x2. I'll run memtest in night, but do you really thing that I would get 2 packs of repeatedly worst sets of RAM?

I feel like it’s another part.

The settings for my RAM are as follows:

Speed DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500)
Timing 5-5-5-15
Voltage 2.0V - 2.1V.
