Intel has a wide range of product. From the Extreme Edition quad core, to a single Celeron. They have almost everything. Desktop chips, server chips, and mobile chips. But still there’s a market that Intel is yet to enter.

Technology is changing almost every day. New devices enter market almost every day. IN the form of Ultra Mobile PC a new set of computer have hit the market in past few years or so. Intel saw an opening in this market and therefore decided to launch a whole new set of CPUs Specially designed for the UMPCs, the Intel Atom CPU.
