Already there are certain devices in the market that uses this breed of CPUs. The most famous UMPC, the ASUS EEE, is planning to utilize it. It is similar as old EEE, but in place of a Celeron M, it's has the Atom CPU.

Here’s a very cool device from the Sharp-Willcom. This will have the Atom, 1GB of RAM, a 40GB HDD, a 2MP camera, WiFi, and Bluetooth. It will use Vista Home Premium SP1 and consist of Office. Even making calls will be possible with this device.

It’s a very different product from the EEE. The EEE is intended to be portable second computer, same as the Macbook Air. But the Sharp-Willcom is tool that will cost around some $1200 not so reasonable.
