It has a full-sized keyboard. People who type know that if keys aren't in their usual place, but it lacks. Though the keyboard is full-sized, there are certain limitations.
The backspace key annoys most. "=" key is placed in place of backspace key. The page up and page down buttons are also placed next to the arrow buttons. It will take some time to get use to it. But overall the typing experience is nice.
Mouse
The touchpad is the toughest part. One will have to search for it. Though it looks pretty cool as the 1410's touchpad is flush and of the same color as the netbook. The buttons placed in such a manner that while using pad, thumb naturally lands on the buttons.
CPU
Its CPU is the biggest advantage over other netbooks of its class. As it uses Intel's Atom processors they consume less energy though they are not too powerful. This netbook uses Intel's Core 2 Solo SU3500. It's a Core 2 Duo with one core deactivated and low voltage. It runs at 1.4 GHz with an 800 MHz FSB. Its low powered like the Atom, but provides a great performance benefit.
It produces more heat, but it doesn't get heated; fan rarely turns on and when on it doesn’t make any noise at all. Apart from of being powerful, it has some very handy features like x86-64, for running 64-bit OSes, and VT, for using with virtualized applications. Atom has none of these.
