Samsung Go N310 and Gateway LT3103u - Gateway Connectivity and Design

Bluetooth is not available in the Gateway LT3103u. Buy Wi-Fi is there, however it’s not the quickest 802.11n version. A 5-in-1 card reader is also available for easy access to files and images. An integrated webcam and microphone for chatting purposes is also available.

The look of the Gateway LT3103u is basic. It has a basic black exterior, except the Gateway name. It has 11.3 inches wide by 8 inches tall by 1 inch thick and weighs 3 pounds in measurements. Only down point is the design that has to be its clunky battery, which protrudes from the backside of the netbook.

The best feature of the LT3103u's design is its 11.1-inch backlit LED display with 1,366x768 resolutions. The display gives an excellent color and image, and is very nice to watch. Because of the larger size of the screen one can see even with less scrolling.

The keyboard on the N310 is very spacious for a netbook, and its keys are very comfortable to type on. The touch pad support some multi-touch gestures, but its negative point is its single rocker bar, which is used in place of 2 individual mouse buttons.

The Gateway LT3103u is certainly a nice netbook to get a bigger display with higher resolution. Its performance is nice too, except the battery. Price is though you really can’t compete with the LT3103u.
