The exterior of Acer Aspire 1410 has a balance of ports and slots vs. size and space. On the left hand side there’s a VGA, AC power, fan outlet, HDMI and USB ports. Usually the HDMI are not there in netbooks its unique addition to it. Whereas VGA would work look for connecting to a projector or monitor, the HDMI is a fast and simple all-in-one port for TVs.
On the back side is the battery. It's a 6 cell battery, which is base of the road for netbooks. Some have 3 cell batteries, which is the smallest size. Few are having 9 cell batteries, which really stick out of the netbook. The 6 cell sits between the extremes, and may stick out of the PC.
Finding the space inside a netbook for a 6 cell battery is difficult. Acer manages to do a great job of fixing the battery in this netbook.At the right side of the network plug, there are 2 addiyional USB ports, audio in and out, and a multi card reader. Just like other netbook ports.
According to its power the size is pretty good. Its 11.8 inches wide, 8.03 inches deep and 0.83-1.18 inch thick in measurement. Though it’s not the slimmest, it’s not thick too. It weighs in at 3.1 lbs. It’s not the lightest though it’s not the very heavy too. It's very powerful and feels solid.
The netbook has Vista as OS, and also Windows 7 upgrade is available for free. Most of the netbooks couldn’y has the capacity of playing YouTube or Hulu as this system comes with a powerful CPU and latest Intel graphics, even while playing high quality videos.
