The Hannspree Hannsnote has a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 processor like most of the other netbooks available in the market at present. It also comes with 512 KB of L2 cache and 1GB of DDR2 SDRAM, though it can be upgrade it to 2 GB. Power-wise it’s not the best, but good enough for performing day-to-day task. Such as creating and editing documents, checking emails, or snuffing internet. If one wants to perform multimedia tasks and multitasking, the power will not be sufficient enough though. The Hannsnote has Windows XP as Operating System.

The 160 GB HDD provides plenty of storage space on the Hannsnote. The Hannsnote the RAM is the only configuration available for update. The 6-cell lithium ion battery gives battery life of about 5 hours.

In the Hannsnote the Bluetooth is a nice highlight feature. It also comes with Wi-Fi, to get connected to wireless networks while on the run. The Hannsnote comes with integrated webcam and microphone to stay in touch with your friend while on the run. USB connectivity is also available in this machine. Though the Hannsnote ldoesn’t have features such as ExpressCard slot and an HDMI port.
