Tech giants Intel and Asus merged to compete with the “One Laptop Per Child” initiative’s XO-1 laptop, launching the first line of their own sub-laptops back in 2007 -- the Asus Eee PC 700 line. After its success, the Series 900 was launched in USA in May. Here we will look at the feature offered in consideration with the functionality, features and price.
Intel said that the main objective of the Eee PC series of PC is allowing each user a chance to have a computer. The 3 E's stands for an abbreviation of the company's marketing slogan:"Easy to learn, easy to work, easy to play."
The system was released in Hong Kong in April for $500. It was launched in UK in May for $650, and then in USA in May for $550.
